Miami Connection Review

So, Netflix just added a new film entitled Miami Connection that Drafthouse films has reissued.
Growing up, I always thought that the B in B-movies stood for the Best, and I believe I still do.  If you enjoy motorcycle riding ninjas that steal rival gangs "stupid cocaine", while a battle of the bands is redefined with Tae Kwon Do kicks and "punch punch" lyric gold from a group of orphaned Orlando college students who perform in a synth-rock band named Dragon Sound, with hits like Against the Ninja and Friends, well fuel your insatiable eyes upon this gem.  The subplots of this film do not disappoint either, with a love story, big brother demands for little sister, classic 80's style beach fun in the sun, and of course, a reuniting with a long lost father.  What is the Miami Connection to Orlando, find out for yourself, you will not be disappointed.  This film definitely deserves a Tae Kwon Do bow.

Directed by 9th degree black belt and philosopher Y.K.Kim, who also stars in the film.

AMC Theatres (AMC) and the Autism Society have teamed up to bring families affected by autism and other disabilities a special opportunity to enjoy their favorite films in a safe and accepting environment on a monthly basis with the "Sensory Friendly Films" program.

In order to provide a more accepting and comfortable setting for this unique audience, the movie auditoriums will have their lights brought up and the sound turned down, families will be able to bring in their own gluten-free, casein-free snacks, and no previews or advertisements will be shown before the movie. Additionally, audience members are welcome to get up and dance, walk, shout or sing - in other words, AMC’s “Silence is Golden®” policy will not be enforced unless the safety of the audience is questioned.
